Sunrise Way Is A New Beginning    Not An Old Repair

Recovery isn't just about stopping active addiction.  It is about enabling an individual to live life on life's terms without the need to escape using drugs or alcohol.

SUNRISE WAY VALUES

01

When you reach out for help we will be there

  • When you are ready to make a change we will enable that to happen by finding you a place
  • We reduce the waiting period and work with you to arrange admission almost immediately.
  • Everyone is entitled to an opportunity to change
  • Sunrise Way does not discriminate. Past behaiours are not a barrier to entry.

02

We offer a holistic solution

  • We believe in a whole solution - mind, body and soul.
  • Work therapy within the rehab such as gardening and catering is an important part of our program. It prepares us for life after rehab.
  • Physical exercise and healthy eating is imperative in bringing about change.
  • Taking a sabbatical from social media and old associations will allow us to refresh

03

Recovery has to be earnt

  • We have firm boundaries in place around effort, attendance and general behaviour.
  • You are assessed on how you conduct yourself and not what you may have done.
  • We do what we say we are going to do when we are going go to do it. We become reliable.
  • We expect sobriety to be your number one priority when attending Sunrise Way.
  • Inward journeys require hard work and can be daunting but will result in an acceptance of self.
  • Living in honesty and a willingness and being open to entirely new ideas is the basis for change..

04

Matched efforts

  • There is no limit to what we will do to assist you in finding and maintaining recovery.
  • We will support you during and after your time at Sunrise Way.
  • We will not only offer support but challenge you to change. To be better. To do better.

TESTIMONIALS

Jenny, Sunrise Way Graduate, 2020

"The first thing I learnt was that I wasn’t alone.  I felt so alone while drinking.  That question of ‘why don’t you just stop’ was answered.  I drank to cope with feelings I couldn’t put a name to.  It was my only way of dealing.  I have learnt new, healthy ways.

I had low self esteem, no self worth to speak of from years of feeling judged.  That I wasn’t good enough - My marriage was failing and it was all my fault.  I was wrong.  I am enough as I am. The understanding of what I can and can’t control and how to let go of the things I can’t.  That living up to my values gives me so much honesty and strength in myself"

Thanks to Sunrise Way I have been given the tools and just enough experience to embrace life with a fresh perspective, one that is purposeful, grateful and kind.”

Justin, Sunrise Way Graduate, 2018

“Sunrise Way rehab absolutely changed my life!  It taught me a range of skills that I now apply in my every day life.  I learnt things about myself that I didn’t know before.  Just in general I learnt a better way to live.  I really have changed phenomenally.  I barely recognise the man I am today. To be honest, it’s just amazing!

To those people who are struggling or having a hard time.  If you want to recover, if you want to change your life, dedicate yourself 100% and do it because it is possible.  I’m walking breathing proof.  I’m healthy, I’m happy and I have the capacity to make the right decisions in my life now.  None of that would have been possible if it wasn’t for Sunrise Way.  Thank you”
