We provide drug & alcohol residential rehabilitation to people who are experiencing a substance or alcohol abuse disorder. We offer a 12 week and a 6 month program depending on the needs of the client. Sunrise Way is located in Toowoomba and The Lockyer Valley approx 90 minutes from Brisbane.
Our facilities allow residents to reside onsite while completing the therapeutic rehabilitation program. We also deliver a continuing care program which supports individuals once they complete the rehabilitation program.
Alcohol and drugs are but a symptom
Life for the addict or alcoholic has become sufficiently uncomfortable that drinking and taking drugs has become the only viable solution to surviving. Stopping drinking and the use of drugs without a holistic solution will more often than not eventually exacerbate the problems for the indiidual and lead them to returning to active addiction. This in part explains the heartbreaking stop/start cycle off addiction.

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do.
Our clients benefit from having daily access to highly skilled and experienced counsellors, support workers and allied health professionals and a program that supports their recovery. We have a strong focus on building ongoing support networks with professionals, personal and community connections and attendance at Twele Step Groups. We aim to ensure that every individual who completes the residential program exits the service into stable housing and a job or purposeful activity.
Our program is endorsed by the independent experts in our Clinical Advisory Council.
